What we’re looking for

  • Someone who can consistently close direct business to increasingly large B2B clients
  • Someone who can own and create process around increasing ACV and upgrade sales
  • A true player/coach: someone who can win sales, but can also successfully hire, manage, and coach a high-performing sales team over time
  • Someone who can help shape and inform the client handoff process to ensure future CS success
  • Someone who can creatively problem-solve for the seasonality of the sales year, including prospecting, staffing, etc.
  • Someone who can build and maintain deep and meaningful relationships with clients

  • Showcase™ Net New Revenue (Annual)
  • Showcase™ Average ACV

 

Your A Good Fit If

  • Direct sales (AE) and cold prospecting (BDR) experience (5-15 years total)
  • Familiarity with the B2B or B2B2C sales process, previous experience in the HR industry strongly desired
  • Track record of individual sales success AND team support and management
  • Solid self-starter and go-getter, with an exceptional ability to effectively motivate and inspire other
  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment, understands the true nature of a scrappy, young startup, and is excited to help it grow

The People Ops Society (POPS) is the next-gen professional association for forward-thinking People professionals. POPS is a highly-vetted community for People Operations professionals to gather, grow, and transform the working world.

What we’re looking for
This position has ultimate responsibility to build upon member engagement and participation, collaborate on new member growth, and have a relentless focus on member renewal through demonstrated value to the People Ops community.

  • Prioritize and create innovative member content that pushes the People Ops function forward through events, networking opportunities, professional development, etc. 
  • Active participation in the POPS community to generate insights and learnings that will be used in product development and marketing campaigns
  • Build an incredible member onboarding experience to demonstrate immediate value 
  • Actively engage with the membership to leverage their background, talent, and interests in the POPS community 
  • Own & manage ongoing member engagement with platform & programming (logins, DLs, participation)
  • Ensure an excellent member renewal experience 
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to create alignment across efforts and maximize the value of content produced

 

Metrics This Role Will Own

  • Total Membership (+ Net New)
  • Membership Engagement (NPS+)
  • Membership Renewal %

 

You Will Find Success If You

  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit and own POPs like it is “your baby”; have self-starter written all over you and understand the true scrappy nature of a young startup that you are energized to grow
  • Think innovatively about the role of People Ops to organizational success 
  • Have experience owning engagement in organizations 
  • Learning & Development experience or experience creating event programming
  • Lead conversations and campaigns on social channels to drive conversation and build awareness for a brand/product
